The sea was angry that day my friends. I journeyed to Garrucha to stay the night with my friend Amanda. Then we took on a 48 hour festival with some of my favorite bands: Crystal Castles, Uffie and Hot Chip. At one point I seriously considered never working again, shaving my head into something bad ass and starting a career as a groupie. At 5 AM I changed my mind. I was so excited to see Hot Chip, I was actually worried I might do something embarrassing like pee my pants. I played it cool and posted my favorite hot chip song to my blog, so now you can love them too.
When I think about Madrid, I think about how much I LOVE metro smell.
When I think about the origin of the smell, I think about cleaned up hobo pee mixed with sewer, tons of people and gusts of hot underground air. Then I miss San Francisco.
If someone bottled Metro and sold it, I would spray it on my body after a shower. Is that gross?
If Austin Powers was a tree this would be his mini me. Or you can call it a bonsai tree.
Who knew plants were so cool?!
I remember when I was little (pronounce that double ‘t’ with a ‘d’) my mom and dad would take me to the nursery to buy plants for our backyard. The whole time I remember thinking…Dear God, can we please go home so I can play with my pet mice! What is so exciting about plants?

Plants are so cool! I want a second career as an landscape architect. I can’t wait to go home and start a collection of succulents. What is that tree called? Japanese Maples are my favorite. Let’s go to the botanical gardens in Madrid!!!!!
